Strawberry in a pot for your interior!
I grew it from the seed, which I planted in June this year. There were about 8 seeds in one pot, but as first leaves started to appear it became evident that only one of them should be left in the pot. Otherwise, none of them would have grown into a mature plant. So, I left the strongest one. I kept the pot on a closed terrace of my apartment throughout summer, where it blossomed happily. I did not really believe it would actually give any berry, but this is what happened in… September!
September is already too cold for such plants in Lithuania (for the flowers and berries, I mean), thus it lives inside my apartment now till next summer, gives fruit and supplements my living room’s interior. By the way, my living room is of a modern design and the berry does not spoil it. On the contrary, it adds a unique charm and suits the color palette perfectly well (I have several red accents, like decorative pillows and picture frames).
